This film documents the persevering attempt to establish the truth undertaken by a group of actors and witnesses of the genocide of the Maya people in Guatemala during the 1980s

The Youth Jury award is attributed to:

• THE GREEN WAVE by Ali Samadi Ahadi

Deeply touched by the mixture of real-life and cartoon images, the power of the testimonies and the beauty of the texts, the Youth Jury voted for this film portraying a horrifying subject, which conveys the malaise of the Iranian people, oppressed by a violent and corrupt dictatorship.

QUI A TUE NATACHA ? by Mylène Sauloy

The fight for truth and against impunity is more than ever a necessity in Russia and elsewhere. The film shows the courage of those who fight this battle, the difficulties they face and the terrible repression to which they are sometimes subjected.

IMPUNITY by Juan José Lozano and Hollman Morris

The two filmmakers put their lives on the line in this effort to denounce the appli- cation of the Colombian "Justice and Peace" law - a mechanism that amnesties the perpetrators of the most terrible assassinations.
